PURPLE OF SICILY ITALIAN CAULIFLOWER, heirloom variety

Yes it really is that purple and quite spectacular tasting too. Homegrown cauliflower is hard to beat for it's true, stronger flavor and sweet earthiness. Grows best in the cooler weather, cauliflower can be planted in early spring for a late spring harvest or late summer for a fall harvest.
Here in the Rocky Mountain area, because we heat up quickly, if we don't get them planted in March, our plants will typically get large and then hold steady all summer until the cool weather of Fall arrives before sending up it's heads to share with us. In northern gardens yours should produce at normal times because of the cooler climate.

Easy to grow. No blanching required. I have best results when soil is abundantly amended and I have a consistent moisture supply from a drip line. Absolutely divine!
