Selling from an estate is a lovely floral flow blue roses antique 19th century flow blue Staffordshire England ironstone transfer ware platter. Deep sprays of flowers follow the scalloped border. The blue is a dark black-blue shade.

If you love roses, this platter is beautiful to add to your collection. Fill the center with cookies or chocolates over the holidays for your table or sideboard ~ and the roses pattern will still show beautifully.

It measures appx 15 1/2" long by 11 1/2" wide. The pattern on the back is called Flora by Baker & Co Ltd. which I have not found in any flow blue is a very unusual one.

Condition excellent. It shows very little signs of use...there's minute bits of edge wear and a one inch glaze straw mark, you can see on the back border, see photo, but no chips or cracks.

If you love old world blue and white ~ you will love adding this to your home~!
