Today parasols are enjoyed equally for their practicality and their whimsical aesthetic. I feel the same way about this scarf.
I handmade it from a series of fabrics I patchworked together. I then framed them in soft yellow fur. This faux fur is thick and warm. The scarf fastens perfectly around your neck at 20"-21". It is 4.5" wide. It has two leather loops and two bright orange buttons. It looks great in reverse too. All of the characteristics of this piece make it perfect for combating gray winter days.

This scarf camn be washed and dried normally.

The size will fit most girls/women of average size.

Fun Facts About Parasols:
The Chinese are thought to have created the first waterproof umbrella when they lacquered paper parasols or paper umbrellas, so it would protect them from rain as well as sunlight. The first collapsible umbrella is another innovation of the paper parasol attributed to the Chinese. Eventually, paper parasols came to be associated with nobility and other high ranking officials. According to legend, at one time, 24 paper umbrellas were carried before the Emperor to protect him from the sun while hunting.....Neat huh?
