This is a five piece collection of genuine Putz cardboard village pieces.

These sets were sold in the 1930's and 1940's in dime stores.

All read Japan on the bottom.

They are made of cardboard and have cellophane in the windows. Holes in the back of each to attach a light from a string of lights. When lit up, the cellophane glows.

The bases measure approximately 4 inches and the little houses measure about 3 inches wide.

All are brushed with mica flakes and "snow". Good condition for their age.

True vintage Christmas memories here.

Pastel beauties to add to your existing village or to start a new collection. Bottle brush tree is included. Colors featured are whites, pinks, blues and pale green.
