An instant collection of Milton Glaser's seminal paperback cover designs for William Shakespeare's series published by Signet Classics. In 1964, Glaser was hired to work with Signet art director Bill Gregory to create this expansive line of volumes. Glaser designed the covers to work in sequence, creating a visual impact when displayed as a group in the store. This series is credited with re-popularizing Shakespeare as classroom reading material.

About Milton Glaser:
Milton Glaser (1929- ) co-founded the seminal postmodern design shop Pushpin Studios in 1954 alongside Seymor Chwast, Edward Sorel, and Reynold Ruffins. Many people consider Glaser the cornerstone of American graphic design during the latter half of the twentieth century. A prolific designer, Glaser's work has been exhibited all over the globe and is represented in the design collections of multitudinous of major museums.
