(6 x 9 In) This original antique 1912 NIGHTINGALE/ PEACOCK print is rescued page ( 25/26) from a damaged copy of Elizabeth Gordon's children's book "Bird Children" the cousins of the Flower Children, illustrated by M T Ross.

SAID NIGHTINGALE: "It's not my way
To practice singing in the day,
But wait till all the rest are through
And I will gladly sing for you."

PEACOCK'S a bird of much renown
And wears a lovely cap and gown;
They say he's very, very vain
And likes to show his sweeping train.

The print is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at edges. This would look fantastic in a frame. ***Item will be packaged with care in an acid free sleeve, placed between two pieces of cardboard and shipped in a Bubble mailer.***

***If you need something SHIPPED FASTER than First Class shipping (2-5 Days) or by a specific date, please contact me and if necessary I'll get you a quote for expedited shipping prices.***
