yet another new line of Coolclimates yarn! This unique yarn is made from 5 strands of different yarns spun together. 2 of them are upcycled from unraveled sweaters. 1 is upcycled from an unraveled hat, 1 is upcycled from an unraveled scarf. I washed the sweaters, hat and scarf and took them apart to get some really cool yarns. The other yarn is a discontinued yarn from Sibu yarn boutique in Chicago. Additionally, there is a dark silver and black thread mixed in. On of the yarns a Manos del Uruguay brand hand dyed wool. The others are mixtures of wool, acrylics and mohair.

Because the yarns are from unraveled garments, they have some curl to them. However when I spun them all together, a lot of the curl gets eliminated. But the texture is quite unique. Please note that there are a couple of knots in the yarn due to the nature of the original sources.

This ecofriendly yarn is a palette of red, black, copper, spruce, plum, pumpkin, lavender fuchsia and rose.
you get 83.5 yards and it weighs approximately 6.9 ounces/196 grams.
It's a very bulky weight yarn, recommended needle size is US 15 and up for knitting and size P hook and up for crochet.

pictured is a sample of a similar yarn knit up on size 15 US needles.
