From the oven to the table, your next pie or quiche will be a hit when you bake it in this stunning handmade ceramic baking pan. Just the right size for one or two people. And when not in use for serving a pie or tart, this is perfect to use as a coaster for a wine bottle. Or a small salad or side dish or candy or key bowl, even.

Yes, you really can bake in this dish. And it's a smaller size version of my large bakeware. It is designed for making a pie (or quiche, tart, casserole, etc) for just one or two people.

I created this ceramic bakeware on my pottery wheel out of durable white stoneware clay. I altered the rim while the clay was soft to give some some undulations for interest.

And finished up with a swirl in the center.

The glaze on this pie pan is one that took me two years to perfect, called Lichen. It has crystals in shades of green, gold, bronze and copper in it. Just stunning.

This pie pan measures 2" high and is 8" across. I signed it on the bottom rim. Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.

If you would like the matching pie slicer/server, it's an option in the drop down menu.

This listing is for the exact pie pan shown in the first photos. Other pie pans are shown in the later photos. If you're interested in other bakeware, look here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BlueSkyPotteryCO?section_id=7559766

If I feel I can make something custom for you in a style, design and glaze that I have tested and perfected, I'm happy to consider custom and personalized orders. Please know that there is generally an added charge for this and it may take six weeks or more to complete.
Because all of my pottery is made one at a time, there will be variations in size, even when you purchase a set of two or more pieces. Generally these are maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch in difference and a couple ounces in volume at times.
I use a very durable stoneware clay for my pottery, making it able to withstand continued, everyday use. Unless stated otherwise in the description, you can use my pottery in your oven, microwave and dishwasher.
It is very difficult to gift wrap your pottery since I need to make sure it has lots of bubblewrap and peanuts surrounding it so it arrives intact. However, I am very happy to tie a ribbon around the packing material and to include a hand written card with a message from you inside the box. Just leave me the wording in your Note to Seller at check out.
I do sell my work wholesale to gift shops and galleries. Please contact me for minimum order and pricing information. My phone is: 970-846-9349 and my email is deb@blueskypottery.com

I also have a watercolor shop here on etsy and would love to be represented by a gallery for that work. You can see it at: BlueSkyFineArt.etsy.com
