Maybe all the guys were away at war, or maybe Mom and the gals just decided to take a trip to Florida by themselves and leave the boys at home. At any rate, you’ll find a bevy of wonder women sampling the joys of 1940s Florida tourist life on this cloth, with hardly a male to be found! There are Florida girls fishing, golfing, boating, striking the classic bathing beauty pose, modeling Seminole Indian garb and showcasing the Fountain of Youth - while a couple of poor navy dudes sweat it out in the hot sun near the Naval Air Base in Pensacola. They're so busy working they don't even seem to notice the topless mermaid sitting on a rock in the Gulf of Mexico!

Measures 46 x 51 inches on a heavy cotton fabric with nice strong colors and classic 1940s graphics in bright primary colors. One tiny pinhole in the white border near an edge and one or two very light yellowish marks visible only when held to the sunlight, but not noticeable when the cloth is laid on the table. Will arrive at your house clean, dried in the warm Florida sun and ready to use or add to your collection of Flordiana.
