Unusual and elegant women's dress coat, in what is probably cashmere (not labeled), with dark brown curly lamb fur collar and trim.

Edwardian, Victorian, Art Deco, Depression era, 1890s to 1930s vintage.

The full-length wool coat is kind of a camel color, with a pale bronze or copper satin lining. The curly lamb still has a beautiful sheen, and is a rich dark chocolate brown color. The fur is hand-stitched to the satin in the back trim.

Gorgeous vent in back, starting at about the shoulder blades and running to the bottom. Unusual pockets as well, starting almost under the armpit, with button closures.

There are three buttons off the coat: one pocket button and the two top front buttons. We have TWO of them, so only one is gone forever.

No holes, no bad odors, no bad seams. Only thing to point out is a handful of tiny moth nibbles and just a couple very small light stains.

Armpit to armpit: 23"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 18"
Shoulder seam to cuff: 23"
Back collar seam to bottom hem: 46-1/2"

This is such an unusual old coat, proclaiming 'vintage' and fine tailoring in every line.
