Description

"Brothers" celebrates the love embodied in our feline companions.

Brothers
Linoleum block print, 2009
Image size 4" x 4"
Paper size 10" x 7"
Edition of 30, 2nd edition
Signed and numbered by the artist
Daniel Smith water-based ink on Rives BFK paper

Woody and Sparky --full names Woodrow Mycroft Keeper and Spartacus Gladstone Keeper– came to us from our veterinarian, who had adopted them from a man giving away kittens on a roadway median. As kittens, Sparky and Woody were full of vim and vigor, running and tumbling, biting and kicking and being fierce little kitties, until they collapsed exhausted into a heap, sleeping curled up in each others arms. We were convinced that they thought they were a single entity, capable of living in two places at once.

The print will be mailed in a protective sleeve with sturdy backing.
