I finished this piece In the Spring right as the temps were going up and folks did not want to be reminded of Winter and so I held off posting it till now. Many different opinions about winter and snow but I am a lover of it. I don’t want too much but growing up in PA I was beyond excited when it snowed. Nothing better than sledding down the reservoir along Country Club Drive.
York College kids would build fires and sled on trays from the cafeteria. We would go down on these metal sleds that could kill you now that I look back. Always there was hot cocoa upon our return and that great tired that meant a good night sleep.

Love, love, love! Exactly as pictured and described, except even better in person. Because the pieces are painted directly on wood they are unique and have so much character. The seller was so easy to deal with- quick to respond to my inquiry, shipped the next day, and the pieces arrived (packed very carefully) in perfect condition. I've already ordered another painting!
