Are you a Citibank history nut? Then these vintage key rings may be for you.

First National City Bank was a descendant of the City Bank of New York, founded in 1812. In 1863, the City Bank joined the U.S.'s new national banking system and became the National City Bank of New York. By 1868, it was considered one of the largest banks in the United States, and in 1897, it became the first major U.S. bank to establish a foreign department.

Following its merger with the First National Bank in 1955, the bank changed its name to The First National City Bank of New York, then shortened it to First National City Bank in 1962.

In 1976 it was renamed Citibank, N.A. (and Citicorp, respectively).

The rings are a deep cobalt blue plastic, with First National City Bank New York embossed on the front. The large split ring for your keys is gold metal, maybe brass. The plastic shows some age in the form of scratches here and there. Made in USA!!!

The ring measures an inch, and the entire key ring is 3 inches long, by 1.5 inches wide.

Sold as a pair.
