10. Is this fixture UL approved/rated?
A. No these pieces are OOAK so do not have a UL rating. However, we use all UL approved parts to assemble the fixture.
11. Is the mounting hardware included?
A. It depends on how you plan to hang it, there are a lot of options. If you're planning to mount it flush to the ceiling we will pre-drill holes through the base for you and provide toggle bolts to secure it to your ceiling (these bolts work with most ceiling types). If you plan to suspend it down from the ceiling you will need to purchase hooks to hang the fixture from appropriate for your ceiling type. Your purchase does not include hooks to go into the ceiling or the plate to cover the hole in the ceiling but these are easy and cheap to find at any hardware store. I don't include these items because there are many different styles of hooks and the anchor type you will need completely depends on what type of ceiling that you have. Same issues with the plate that covers the electrical box in the ceiling. But you can find these at Home Depot:
*You will need to drill a small hole into this one so the cord can go into it to the power source.
*Just ask at the hardware store which anchor you'll need for your ceiling type, the heaviest of our fixtures weighs no more than 40 lbs with bulbs.
