An elegant all purpose EDC knife that comes with a hand stitched sheath. This knife is entirely hand made, in my workshop in the South of France. Therefore it is one of a kind, but also presents small imperfections, as is the case with any hand made object.
Blade:
440B stainless steel blade with a long clipped point. The file work on the spine is not only decorative, but also serves to add grip when you hold the knife with your thumb on the spine. Hand sanded and buffed to a mirror polish. Hand sharpened on natural stones.
Handle:
It is made of ebony and kingwood, with a diagonal stainless steel spacer. The handle scales are heirloom fit to a full tang (edges are rounded rather than flush). The stainless steal pins are slightly raised and domed. Finished with linseed oil.
Sheath:
Black leather sheath with a belt loop and a flap that is secured with another loop of leather. This makes it very secure, the knife is fully enclosed and presents absolutely no chances of falling out while worn at the belt. The front face of the sheath is overlaid with reclaimed brown and black goatskin.
Application :
Versatile knife for indoor or outdoor cutting tasks. The stainless steel blade means it is food safe and great for hunting, camping, fishing or any activity where a carbon steel knife might rust.
Sharp.
Not a toy, nor a weapon, but a tool.
