1920's Deco Butterfly Rose Enamel Artisan Necklace, Guinevere on her Morning Ride

This repurposed piece has been created using a 1920--1930's red rose and green butterfly enamel buckle 1 3/4" X 2 1/2" as a central focal point, (not nearly as large as it might appear.) I then hung a 1950's 1/2" red metal rose in the center with a dangling chain with a genuine turquoise bead and filigree tear drop behind it. On each side of this rose hang two more dangles each constructed of a genuine turquoise bead, 1950's faux pearl with a brass wrapped cap and brass filigree teardrop. The center dangle hangs 1 1/2" and side dangles 1". This piece hangs from a vintage double linked brass chain with a filigree tear drop dangle at the very end of one side of the chain. The necklace measures 16", however I left an addition 5" on one side in case you would like to wear it longer. I also like the look of the extra chain hanging...

There is minor paint and enamel loss, but I don't think it deters from the piece at all. If anything the fabulous patina on all components truly makes this a newly created vintage piece.
