A uniquely shaped teapot by designer Robert Steven Witkoff. Not much is known about Witkoff, but what's obvious about his work is the clean modernist aesthetic he invoked. This teapot is very sleek; has a Japanese minimalist look.

Research has not brought up much on Witkoff, but I would guess this piece is from the '70s or early '80s. Has a look that is so timeless!
Made in Japan.
The teapot is about 7" tall by about 9" wide
