Oh my gosh! For the first time, my sewing room table is finally virtually all covered, and I can do one cut for a longer piece without shifting it! (I had two mats butted up against each other for the longest time.) It arrived today, and It fits perfectly! Once out of the box, it opened flat, and it does not have any smell at all. It even came with a mat scraper/smoother! That was nice! It's so smooth, and so lovely! My previous mats were used for 25+ years, possibly more, so this was a big investment, but I look forward to many years with it. It came quickly, and was boxed really well. I will update later after I have used it a while. It is 4' x 6', so I have about an inch in front which is perfect as I have ruler tape on the front to help measure stuff. This is one corner of it, but you can see what it looks like.
