Grand Prix motor racing has its roots in organized automobile racing that began in France as far back as 1894. It quickly evolved from a simple road race from one town to the next, to endurance tests for car and driver. Innovation and the drive of competition soon saw speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour (160 km/h), but because the races were held on open roads there were frequent accidents with resulting fatalities.

The Monaco Grand Prix (French: Grand Prix de Monaco) is held each year on the Circuit de Monaco. Run since 1929, it is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world for both drivers and spectators.

The 1948 race was won by Emilio Giuseppe "Nino" Farina the first ever World Champion Formula One driver.

This tee is unique and incredibly soft with a worn-in, vintage look.
