This gorgeous Jasperware black basalt table lighter was made by Wedgwood in the 1960s. It features a cameo-like profile of what looks like Julius Caesar (?), and the base is ringed with a laurel leaf pattern. As shown, it's in very good vintage condition with a faint black mark on the white profile that is noticeable only at close range. It has no chips or cracks.

The lighter measures approx. four inches high and 2&1/8" in diameter at base. Please note that this is for display only. I purchased lighter fluid for this awhile back and tested it, but it did not light. I think the problem is with the flint, but I'm not certain. Regardless, please consider it to be a nonworking lighter--you really wouldn't want to defile this with smelly old lighter fluid, anyway!
