Twelve Buttercups

Bright yellow, almost orange thread wrap makes these five-petal buttercups. Teal colored hexagons create a frame for these cute flowers. This design is featured in my new book "Temari Techniques" coming next spring.

3 1/2" diameter temari is filled with rice hulls with a bell box that rattles in the core.

To display this work, a thread hanger is attached to the ball. You can easily snip this free to display on a stand as a single work of art. Also included are a history of temari and a description of this particular temari, signed by the artist.

This is a Level 2 design. http://www.japanesetemari.com/Japan-Temari-Association.html
