A mid century modern scarce vintage 1960's-70's Henry Link Wicker Bookcase Baker's Rack shelves stand.

Woven wicker over a steel frame for endurance designed with a lovely cove arbor arch at the top. The shelves all pop out and are woven over steel frames as well. Black detailed lattice work frame and turquoise shelves with some older green paint on the underside of the shelves.

A very versatile stand, at appx 63" tall to the center arch x 20" wide x 12" deep.

Embellish with lights to create a romantic affect. Perfect display storage piece.

Very good condition but not perfect new, with a bit of loss in the wicker here and there from years of use ~ nothing that takes away from its vintage charm, see photos. It is easy to secure further with rattan spokes or black braid or weaving embellishment. The steel frame makes the bookcase very sturdy.

Perfect for a cottage bookcase stand in any room, from vintage baker's rack kitchen stand to library bookcase to vintage children's bedroom bookcase to bathroom spa stand to vintage porch garden stand or wedding affords a lot of room for decorating, display and organizing storage. A hard to find 'in between' size so it can fit in a lot of places.

"The Henry Link Corporation was organized in became the first company to popularize casual wicker furnishings. Henry Link got his inspiration for his wicker designs from his many trips abroad...thereby he became known for his innovative designs, his furnishings a reflection of a destination-oriented theme which blended exotic materials and cultural elements to create a look of sophistication and endurance. During the 70's the furniture industry executive loved to travel in search of new and exotic styles and designs. Lexington popularized his most popular treasures in the casual, breezy "wicker" look. From the beaches of Costa Rica to the jungles of the Congo, the open, airy wicker style was a symbol of a carefree lifestyle that Lexington wanted to capture in practical designs that could be produced for the average consumer. They were more than successful and the name Henry Link became synonymous with quality and value in wicker."
