I love my old, old cookbooks.
Unlike new cookbooks which focus on
speedy assemblage of on hand items,
my old cookbooks tell me things like
how to make my own mayonnaise.

This wonderful book has over 900 pages
covering everything from soup to nuts
(ha ha, get it?)
beautifully organized
with color and black and white illustrations.

Not surprising that it would have a stain in the edges,
the rest of the pages look quite clean and nice.

If you are looking to recapture the art of cooking
slowly and from scratch,
this is a great cookbook for you!
