The front of this antique locket has a beautiful etched design of flowers and there is also an oval circle where you can engrave someone's initials. The inside of the locket has the hallmark of "W&H" which stands for Wightman & Hough. They were a jewelry company located in Rhode Island and they were in business from 1856 to 1922. The inside also says 1/4 gold shell. The frames are missing from inside the locket but you can still place pictures inside. The locket does not have initials on the back. I have handknotted light blue pearls and have finished off the necklace with a gold filled clasp. The oval shaped locket measures 7/8" wide by 1 1/4" long not including jump ring. The handknotted pearls measure 18 1/2" long.
