This attractive 35 mm bakelite camera was produced by
the Spartus Corporation from 1947 to 1954.
It has a chocolate brown pebble like surfaced body,
gray top and smooth brown underside.
It has a very pretty chocolate and silver lens mount.

It's in very good cosmetic condition.
The brown pebbled surface is nearly perfect.
There is one rusty (?) rivet on the back.
The top and bottom show only the most minor of surface abrasions,
however, there is a shallow crack along the left back where the top and
back meet and a scratch on the gray portion where the two halves meet.
The back doesn't stay tightly on, but will stay on for display purposes.
The metal frontispiece shows light surface abrasions.
The viewfinder is bright, but dusty.
The lens is clean.

Sadly, though the shutter fires, the aperture doesn't open
fully. It opens like a crescent moon only.

The box is in excellent structural condition. It does show surface,
edge and corner wear, as well as a few dent, scrapes,
surface cracks and discoloration. The graphics are still bright,
readable and very cool!

This camera will be a beautiful display collectible.
I haven't seen one of these before, though they aren't
reputed to be uncommon.

Your camera will be carefully packed and shipped priority mail
with delivery confirmation in the US and First class mail international.
