This is an original silhouette painting on a thick wood block. Small works of art, like this abstract street art portrait, always inspire great interest and conversation. Just display on your wall or shelf.

I began this portrait painting by gluing a black and white magazine photo to a wood block. Next I painted black and white acrylic over the image in an abstract pattern. Then I layered several silhouettes of a man in white acrylic paint, yellow gouache, and pink inks over top of one another.

An abstract street art portrait of a emerges.

about the artist

evey in orbit is Veronica Leto, a mixed media artist, zinester and photographer from NYC. Hi! All of my creations are one of a kind, put together with a mish mash of media and what most consider paper trash. Some people look at the world and see junk in the randomness; I see possibility.

Thanks for looking!
