Silk Scarf Square, Hand Painted - Butterfly Gardens in Jewel Violet Tones - Gifts for Her - READY TO SHIP

Graceful dragonflies and butterflies flutter about a grassy meadow of brilliant, velvety, jewel-like burgundy and fuchsia tones. This particular combination of purple and fuchsia is eye catching and elegant, yet not overpowering, and the large 35" square's simplicity for tying and wrapping ensures that this scarf will become a favorite, treasured accessory.

Each dragonfly, butterfly, flower and blade of grass has been freehand painted using an eco-friendly batik process.

The rich, luxurious silk satin has a buttery soft hand and beautiful sheen, allowing the colors of the scarf to subtly shift and change with the light.

The large, square shape allows for multitudes of ways for tying and wrapping, but you can never go wrong by simply folding this scarf diagonally and tying the two ends behind your neck. This is also an excellent size for a head wrap.

---Styling----
"But I don't know how to wear a scarf" - Here are some videos I made demonstrating six different ways to wrap and tie your scarf - give it a try; it's easier than you might think! :)

--How This Was Crafted----
This one of a kind design was created using hot soy wax and professional grade, eco-friendly silk dyes. The scarf has been painted entirely freehand, and is truly a unique work of wearable art.

---Care Instructions----
To care for your new scarf, dry clean or hand-wash in cold water with a drop of mild soap. Rinse, and blot dry with a soft towel. When silk is just slightly damp, iron on the backside on low setting. A small care card is included with each purchase.

----Quality---
All of my scarves are made to last a lifetime. They are painted with professional-grade silk dyes, then steam set for five hours for ultimate performance and wear. Unlike paints that sit on the surface of the silk, dyes chemically bond with the silk fibers during the steaming process, yielding the most brilliant colors possible.
