Do you keep chickens? Do you want your chickens to be lice free? Of course you do. Then this is the booklet for you. It tells how to have healthy, clean fowls. Just look at that cover, that kid with a cap and suspenders and a chicken in a compromising position. Obviously educational, although it dates from 1922. Aren't the chicks and chickens surrounding the boy cute? Inside, we learn about feather lice, stick-tight lice, blue bugs, and chiggers. And more. What's not to like? It is 9 inches by 6 inches and has a few marks and some fading. The back cover (which is plain, without text) has a torn corner. 11 pages. Someone scrawled the name 'Marcella Kernan' across the front -- and I'll bet it was Marcella Kernan.
