This ladies armless rocker is quite a prize...the rockers show tiny burls eye, which help in dating it to late 1800's. The seat was redone nicely, and the whole chair is in great sturdy shape.

The armless rockers were often used as sewing chairs, and nursing chairs. It would fit a small through medium sized person. The patina on this piece is remarkable....

1863 was the date I found most often on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Dept. of Labor and Industry pieces. All prices found were skyhigh, so I feel this would be a great investment at the listing price. This example is numbered 707.
