I am offering three cat montypes (your choice) for $35 (which is a $10 savings over regular single price.) Shipping for three remains the same as for one monotype, so there's a savings there too.
Not all the monotypes are listed on my Etsy Shop. To see all available, visit my blog site at:

Then convo/email me the numbers of the ones you want to purchase. I will list those three as a "reserved" item at the $35 price especially for you!

This small original monotype titled "Silver Spot" was hand-printed on re-purposed paper from a plexiglass plate on which I painted the image with non-toxic water-base paints. This monotype is one of my favorites of the series; I like the tilt of the cat's head and the softness of the tabby markings.

"Silver Spot" is one of several sitting cat images I've created using the monotype process.
Monotype (and monoprints) are single prints that can not be duplicated. To produce this kind of work, I paint the desired image on a plexiglass plate. I do this free-hand - without a drawing beneath the plexiglass - and the result is a very gestural, spontaneous image. The paint dries in just a few minutes but it needs to be still wet in order to print to the paper, so I must work very quickly. A printing session yields many prints but I select only a percentage of them are to sign and mat.

"Silver Spot" is matted as shown (outside dimension is 6.5 x 9.5 inches) and shrink-wrapped. The paper on which it is printed is the tone as it appears in the photo that shows the whole image. I scan my small artworks rather than photograph them and sometimes the scanner reads the paper tone differently from the paint. Also, as with all the prints in this series, the detail photos are larger than the actual work.

I will be listing several of the sitting cat monotypes (and other cat-theme monotypes), so if you're looking for a certain color combination, please click on the Monotype section on my shop's home page and that will show you all the monotypes currently listed.
