STEP 1
Disassemble the Pen:
Unscrew your pen’s barrel from the feed section.

STEP 2
Insert your cartridge:
Find the opening of the cartridge and insert it into the pen’s feed section.

STEP 3
Press Firmly:
Push the cartridge firmly into the feed until you feel the cartridge puncture. This may take more force than you expect. You will be rewarded by a satisfying "click"!

STEP 4
Leave the Pen Tip Down:
It can take a while for the ink to fully saturate the pen so don’t worry if it doesn’t start writing right away. You should shake it gently if you would like to speed up the process, although this may result in a small amount of leakage or spillage.

Each cartridge measures approx 40mm (1.5") in length. Please compare with your current cartridge to make sure it will fit your pen. All of our inks will fit our Monaggio pens

NEVER use waterproof ink as this will clog your pen.

DO NOT squeeze your cartridge to stimulate ink flow. This will damage the cartridge

DO NOT drop or even tap your pen against a hard surface as this is likely to damage both the nib, the cartridge and even the seal between the lid and the body of the pen. To avoid accidental damage, always replace the cap after use. This also stops the ink from drying inside the pen.

Remove the ink converter from the pen. Twist the knob at the end of the converter. This moves the piston up and down, creating a vacuum that draws ink up into the pen. Dip the end of the converter into bottled ink. Twist the knob the other way to raise the piston and draw ink into the converter.

If the pen is not used for a couple of days, the ink in the nib can dry out. Remove the converter from the pen (or ink cartridge) and wash the nib with warm water until the water runs clear. Reinsert the cartridge.
