Wow what a find! This small case measuring 12 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches is 4 inches deep and is believed to be a salesman's sample case for the Pioneer Tailoring Company of Chicago, Illinois. The case is black and made of a faux leather. Handle is black plastic. The crowning glory of this case is the advertisement on the inside lid. Open the case and you are met by a man dressed in 1950 attire. He is modelling for the Pioneer Tailoring Company. Advertisment states Smart Styling in Made to Measure Clothes Pioneer Tailoring Company Chicago 1896-1950. Condition of case is good. Minor edgewear on outside and scuffs on bottom and inside. Double latches work well. Handle in good shape. The ad, itself, is in great shape with bright colors. Great vintage piece which doesn't come along often.
