We use authentic Brass Zippo lighters! Our process engraves deep into the Zippo to give a durable engraving which will stand the test of time. We engrave -deep- into the metal case so you can feel the quality in the engraving! Don't be fooled by other sellers making photo lighters that are not really engraved into the metal and wear off in a few weeks! To get started we need a digital photo and/or the details of what you would like designed. Remember the lighter is rectangle shaped and we may have to crop/adjust your photo to fit if you send us an odd sized photo. Also make sure that the photo is in focus. We will personally assist with every single order one-on-one to design and proof the order to your liking. Then we will engrave your custom lighter.

Zippos that we engrave are made from brass. We polish each lighter after we engrave to a wonderful shine. (But we can give the lighter an antique look upon request). Brass has a wonderful gold color which will gradually age and darken over time into a timeless vintage-inspired look. Brass is a reflective metal and when held at different angles, or under different types of lighting the appearance will change due to reflections and other factors. Like antique brass furnishings and heirlooms passed down through generations, your lighter will develop its own special character over time. Legal Notice: Note that custom engraving does void the manufacturer warranty on the lighter. Zippo will not cover someone else's work. However we stand behind our engravings 100% and if there would be a problem with the lighter we will of course be happy to assist you. While we use Zippo lighters, we are not the manufacturer.
