These vintage cat eye sunglasses are a rich brown in a classic wrap around style. Classy and understated, the corners are decorated with rhinestones and pearls. The brown of the frames fades gently into a black inside. The classic shape of these frames is very flattering! Made by Winsom, they are stamped with the original owners name and town.

These frames are generously sized and are in excellent condition with 7 barrel hinges and all of the rhinestones and pearls intact. They currently have no lenses in them and are ready to be fitted with your sunglasses or Rx. Like most vintage frames, they may need adjustment by your optician for a perfect fit.

The measurements are:
Hinge to hinge - 4 7/8"
Inside temple to temple - 5 1/8""
Across front from tip to tip - 5 1/2"
Temple length (total) - 5 5/8"
Lens width - 48mm
Nose piece - 22mm

These would be considered a size large - you can compare these measurements to your own glasses to see if they would be a fit.

HOW TO MEASURE GLASSES:
The lens width is taken horizontally across the lens at the widest point, and the bridge width is the measurement across the bridge from one lens to the other. While each number is important on it's own in terms of how the lenses are centered over your eyes, adding the together gives you a general idea of how big the frames are. For instance, I wear a 46/22 in a cat eye frame, which added together is a 68, making them a medium to medium large. If you're a person who needs a large frame, try to find one with a combined measurement as close to 70 as possible; a small frame would be closer to a combined measurement of 60 or 62.

*Another measurement is the "PD" or pupil distance; this is the approximate length in mm from center to center of each lens. You can measure your own pupil distance in the mirror with a ruler, or measure an existing pair of frames that look good on you. While your eyes don't have to be exactly centered in each lens, try to get it close.
