This is a beautiful Arts & Crafts hand tooled leather purse by Jemco. All hand tooled and embellished with a deep impression of a grapevine design on the front with a textured leather back. Stamping on the inside top shows that it was patented October 5, 1915 - May 15, 1918 with a completion date of July 23, 1918. The opening hinge assembly is in solid brass with a button latch and a half-turn locking tab. The tab says Turnloc.

The lacing on the purse is in very good condition, it does have a bit of wear, but overall in excellent condition! The inside is in a green colored soft suede and it does have the original leather mirror, which is also in excellent condition...It has two inside pockets and one holds the original mirror. It also has the original chain strap!

This piece is truly a piece of art and a piece of history! The purse measures 6 1/4" wide and about 7 1/2" tall. The strap in total is 33" long...

Do inquire for more detailed pics! :-)
