The warp of this scarf is a blend of silk and rayon It has a very slight texture but mostly just a soft, smooth feel. I chose some bright colors of raspberry and a variegated pink/green/blue/orange and then two shades of a soft blue for the stripes.

For the weft (crosswise threads) I chose a shiny white rayon with loops along one side (you can see a strand of it in the fourth photo) and wove the scarf in a 2/2 twill so it drapes nicely. The chevron visible in the center stripe is a result of the way I set up the threading.

While I was weaving this scarf, it felt quite stiff. But once it was washed (part of my finishing process) it became supple and slinky. It is surprisingly heavy and will provide you with a warm accent to any outfit or coat.

The ends have carefully knotted fringe and the scarf measures a generous 12" x 72" (30cm x 183cm) plus 3.5" (9cm) fringe.

Care: Hand washable, lay flat or hang to dry, then press as needed.

Shipping: Price listed is for Priority Mail. I am happy to ship via parcel post or internationally. I can combine shipping for multiple purchases as well. Please send me your zip code and I can give you a quote. Thanks
