Here I have presented a mid century painting by William Wareham, the artist and sculptor.

William Wareham was a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts in 1974 and the Eisner Prize for sculpture at UC Berkeley in 1968 and 1969. In 1999, he was awarded an artist residency at Djerassi. He was an assistant to Peter Voulkos for five years and Mark Di Suvero for six. His other influences can be traced to Anthony Caro and David Smith.

The painting is an early work by William Wareham and can be authenticated. The artwork is in an organic / abstract / nonobjective style. I was told that this painting has been on display at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

This MASSIVE (6'h x 6'w) painting and would be a great piece to add to any collection. It would be also be a great addition to any interior and would add much presence to any space.

It is in good condition considering its age, but it is not without flaws. Email me for any more pictures of the piece. Also email me for a more accurate shipping quote.

A great addition to EveryMan (or EveryWoman)'s interior & art collection
