All coins are cleaned and prepared in order to show details.

14kgf channel wire was used for the bezel.

I hand created the bails and soldered them to the channel wire. Bail is 6 mm round.
4th picture dates and identifies the Greek coin.

The horse is pictured on the front of the coin and Apollo is on the back. We have other coins with Apollo on the front, please check out our shop for these. Because these coins are hand stamped, the front and back is generally not centered with each other.

Pendant size: 19 mm wide, 24 mm high. 25 mm is = 1 inch

Greek and Roman Coins are identified and priced accordingly, based on condition and rarity. 2 part epoxy is used in the wire channel and then the coin is snapped in place. All Coins are GUARANTEED to remain secure. Sometimes you may see a small opening between the coin and bezel, this doesn't take away from the strength of binding and is caused by the irregular shapes of the coins. Coins are more than 2000 years old and they've been through a lot of handling, just think, maybe by Alexander the Great or another famous ruler. Because Greek coins are hand stamped there are a lot of irregularities in there shapes.

Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto. He is the god of light and the sun, truth and prophecy; medicine, healing, and plague; music, poetry, and the arts; and much more. The horse on the Greek coin is a commemorative of the races King Philip II won. King Philip II was an Olympic champion three times. In the 106th Olympics, in 356 BCE, he won the race, riding his horse. In the 107th Olympics, in 352 BCE, he won the four-horse chariot race. In the 108th Olympics, in 348 BCE, he was the winner of the two colt chariot.
