I bought this for my husband Lars in the early days of his telephone systems installation career. He kept it in his service van to keep his loose change in a central place. Later, it made its way up the corporate ladder as he did, always being in a prominent place for that fast coffee break!

Painted on three sides, it depicts a left profile, face on, and right profile of a business man on the phone. The back is painted as the back of the phone booth. Like a biscuit tin, the lid is easily removed to collect the change deposited inside.

With the exception of the paint scratch as shown in the photo, the bank is in good shape for the life it has had. No dents, rust, or money. Sorry.

Made by The Tin Box Company of America, the bank is 5 ¾” tall and 3” square.
