The listing price covers the deposit on any custom order of handmade paper with a beautiful, feathery deckle edge for which handmade paper is known. Since every order is different, please convo me with your wishes and I will work up a quote for your unique package for your wedding, baby shower, anniversary party or other special event. This deposit is for paper without seeds.

The photos show some of the papers I have made for recent weddings. One bride liked the look of multiple shades of green and purple handmade papers as the base of a wedding invitation with a vellum overlay on top (see the fourth photo). Another bride liked a very dark blue shade for the place cards at her country garden wedding. She wrote on them with a silver pen and anchored them at the table with river stones.

I have had brides attach tags and cards to trees, around mason jars and to a small favor bag. They have tucked them standing up into wheat grass and used different colors of paper to indicate the dinner choice for their guests. I love new challenges so if you have an idea, run it by me and I will let you know if I can make it!

You won’t find higher quality handmade paper anywhere else! I use gorgeous scraps, saturated with color. I don’t use any dyes or bleaches to create my paper - the color comes only from the scraps. Each sheet of paper is individually made by hand using an art form created by the Chinese over 2,000 years ago, and I have been making paper by hand since 1992!

I can add inclusions to the handmade paper that hold meaning to you (like bits of yarn or string for a bride who loves to weave or knit); the color of the paper can be customized to your favorite colors or the colors in your wedding. You can even supply me with the paper - like old love letters - that I will shred and make into new paper for your invitations. I love that I am giving new life to recycled paper for the start of a couple's new life together. I hope you feel the joy and passion in everything I make!

Frequently asked questions about PulpArt

I ship every day, Monday through Friday, via USPS First Class mail. I wait until the afternoon to take orders to the post office to capture as many orders as I can. (But I will go early in the day if my customer has a time issue like an Express Mail drop-off.) So it may take as long as 24 hours for your package to be shipped but it is often much less. And if you want to know a little secret, I live within walking distance from a post office so sometimes, and especially on nice days or if I have an errand to run, I will make a second trip to mail something if I get a sale late in the day. I often ship on Saturdays, even though I officially say that I ship Monday through Friday.
I do not wholesale my plantable products but I do wholesale my Petal People pressed flower art cards. Please inquire for more information.
Because of customs regulations for shipping live seeds to other countries, I do not offer international shipping on my plantable products but do ship my Petal People cards internationally.
Because I get so many donation requests, I have had to limit those charities to whom I donate. I now only donate locally, and to companies and charities with whom my family is directly involved.
Yes! However, I am very selective who I give my products to, and I don't give them very often. I will need proof of a certain amount of consistent readership, as well as evidence of cross-promotion on social media, and a well-established presence in either the crafting world, wedding market or another audience that hits my target customer base.
When I package up an order, I print a shipping label in my studio. Once the label is printed, an email is automatically sent with tracking info, but your package has not been shipped yet. When I drop off the package at the post office, it is scanned with the postal gun. The postal folks don't transfer that information from the gun to their computer system until after 5 pm when they upload the scans into their computer. It can still take a few more hours for tracking info to appear on the website. If you have been sent an email with tracking but it isn't showing up, just check back a few hours later or the next day.
