This antique shaving mirror, made by Norwich Nickel & Brass Works of Connecticut, date to about 1900. The tilt of the mirror can be adjusted by tightening the screw tab on the reverse. The base is heavily weighted with cast iron.

Measures 9 ¾ inches high, mirror is 7 inches diameter. Joint on the back is molded ‘NORWICH N & BW’.

The glass plate has a fair number of scratches, but no chips or cracks. The brass frame and support were originally nickel plated and traces of this finish can be detected. There is a new screw at the top of the support, this may have once adjusted the height. Some small dents and scratches to the brass throughout.
