Dating from 1907 through 1908 is this sentimental photo album which measures by 10 3/4" wide by 7 1/4" long. This photo album has 26 pages which hold 101 images. These images consist of many different locations which are; Cobbs Hill Reservoir, Rochester, New York, Genesse Valley Canal Woods, Devils Cove, Irondequoit Bay, Big Black Creek, Little Black Bridge, Little Black Culbert ,the first bridge at Browns Crossing and Robert's Woods. Photo themes consist of; Homes, Interiors, Family At The Dinner Table, Wooded Areas, Nature, Birds Nests With Eggs, Domestic Pets, Farm Animals, Bridges, Construction of Bridges, A Dam, A Rail Road Engine, Rail Road Tracks, Several Rail Road Depots ( Bergen, N.Y. being one ), Farm Life, Outdoor Activities, Playing Cow Boys and Indians, Playing Cops and Robbers ( holding real revolvers at each other ), Tilling Of Farm Fields, Riding A Bike, Apple Picking, Eating Lunch Under A Tree, Camping, Canoeing and Biking Near A Rail Road Depot. This photo album has a, " Tom Sayweresque ", feel about it and is in fine vintage condition with light soiling and minor surface wear on both it's outter cover and photographs. Although intact, there are two pages ( first and last pages ) that have come undone from the rest. This album would make a fine addition to your image collection. It is also a great historic photo documentation of the Rochester, New York area and the construction of the Cobb Hill Reservior.
