Death Positive Enamel Pin - Mourning Jewelry - Death and Loss Art - Funeral Keepsake - Grief and Loss

I created this enamel pin in honor of my mother's passing. She passed away on September 1st, 2020 from alzheimer's and vascular dementia. I was her caregiver for a year and a half before her passing and was able to witness her being in the active dying stage and her last breath. This enamel pin is my way of coming to terms that eventually anything living, must and will die. It's our responsibility to remember that. We can choose to be scared of the inevitable, or we can choose to live on our own terms because we realize life is fleeting. This is a representation of my making the choice to live - to embrace all life has to offer. I refuse to back down from the chance of living my life, just because it will eventually lead to death. And while my heart is broken that my mom passed away, I am so grateful that she is no longer suffering with the pain she was experiencing due to alzheimer's and dementia.

♥ We want to give you the best, so most of our pins come in a hard enamel.

♥ Each Pin is meticulously packed in a wax paper bag, with a cardstock backing, to ensure it doesn't move around.

♥ Included are two pin backs - usually rubber pinbacks, unless it's a mini pin. (All of our DISCOUNTED pins come with butterfly clutches.)

♥We have a limited number of pins available, so act fast before they disappear!

◆We do not offer customizations on enamel pins, sorry! I'm happy to take suggestions for breeds etc. But it may not be something I can readily do.

✉ Turn around times vary for each item. You can check the turn around time for the items you're interested in, by clicking on the Shipping & Policies tab. We try to ship out everything as quickly as possible, however it can take the full amount of time listed. If you need something by a specific date, please email us with the request. We'll do everything in our power to make it happen!

✉ All orders are sent via First Class with USPS- which generally takes around 5 business days for orders shipped within the USA, but may take longer, depending on the post office, weather etc. As much as we’d love to, we have no control over the Post Office. If there are any problems though, we’ll always do our best to fix the situation.

✉ International orders generally take around 15 business days for delivery - but can take longer. Customs may take some time to process orders; their turnaround is completely at their discretion. Past orders to international orders have taken around 2 weeks, but that can change depending on customs and things out of our control.

✉ Every order has a tracking number, which is emailed to you once your order has shipped.
