White Buck Oxford Shoes made in the U.S.A. by Worthmore, which was a second label of Florsheim. The Florsheim company prided themselves in the quality of their carefully handcrafted shoes. Leaders in the US for many years and for good reason. At some point Florsheim shoes became so expensive that the company decided to produce a lower price point shoe while still maintaining that great quality with a different style. And thus came the Worthmore Shoe produced by Florsheim. Shoes has soft uppers, white cotton laces, rust color rubber soles with very little wear. The insoles and upper material are man made.
In good vintage condition-- some spots and scuffs and wear on soles and heels and surface dirt. Age is unknown where popular in the 50s, 60s, and 80s. I found them in the med 80s. Size: men's 10 D.

The white buck shoes first became popular because of Pat Boone (one of the most popular performers of the 1950s and 1960s next to Elvis). Pat Boone was known as "The Kid in White Buck Shoes". I remember as a teen when we purchase a pair of bucks we received a small bag made of material like canvas. Inside the bag was white powder and you would hit the shoes with the bag to keep the shoes white.
