This listing is for a 1872 technical drawing of a dredge and other smaller machines and tools, including the knots used in those works. The table of contents of the book indicates "Grande drague de la Clyde". I do not know if the dredge shown was used in the works to deepen the channel of the river Clyde in Scotland that took place at the time of publishing of this drawings.

This antique plate was published in Paris, as part of a manual for engineers of and roads and its author is A. Debauve. This plate would make an excellent gift for an engineer or anyone interested in technical drawing.

Size: 14." x 10" and a margin of 1.8" on the right and left sides and 1.2" on the other sides
(not seen in the images because the scanner is not big enough)

Perfect for framing.

CONDITION: Excellent. It is printed on thick paper and has a nice creamy patina. The plate has a fold down the middle as it was printed on one sheet but folded to fit into the book as two pages. The back is blank . There is a very light shade on some parts of the image caused by the drawing on the opposite side. In my view it doesn't affect the image.
