Savings Bank, Wood Puzzle Box, Secret Opening, c1950s

I remember these from my childhood in the 1940-50s. It is a bank to save money in, but you have to know the "secret" to get it open (which is done by sliding one of the panels and then another). I am pretty sure these were from Japan, but the stamp is very faint on inside of one panel.

It is made of wood and is made to look like dice with all the different colored spots. It is almost 3" square on all sides.

Excellent vintage condition. Works great!
