These shoes are made for walking!

And strutting.

They're not just for short walks (cab seat to restaurant chair) or sitting.

This vintage pair of 1960s black heels from Hill and Dale are stylish and sensible.

Hill and Dale was based in Baltimore, Maryland. They made good quality shoes. In the day, the shoes were sold in upstanding department stores.

I love the fact that the shoes say 'Made in America'. Not U.S.A.

History/Backstory: This is a Virginia find. They came from an estate sale of a very elegant woman.

Condition: Very Good, especially considering that 1. they're shoes and shoes get lots of wear and tear; 2. their age, 40+ years. The leather on the toe boxes has some creases. But, the leather is in great condition, as are the soles. No marks, rips. I would just get heels and taps put on to protect the soles and you are good to go, strut, promenade....
