This handmade pottery sugar bowl with a lid and spoon is the perfect size for lots of uses. It's a great size to use as a sugar bowl, salt cellar, honey pot, jam jar, or storage for anything you want to keep in a decorative jar.

I made it on my pottery wheel out of durable stoneware clay and glazed it in my Lichen glaze featuring shades of mint, green, gold, bronze and copper....it's truly unique and beautiful. This lidded pot is 6" high x 4.5" wide and will hold around 16 ounces. Be sure to take a look at the knob on the lid in the close-up photo. It is a beautiful ceramic honey bear.

A small notch was made in the lid so that you can store a spoon or a honey stick right in the jar. A matching handmade spoon or honey stick is included with your purchase. See photos above. You can make your choice from the drop down menu.

If you check in my kitchen gadgets section, you will find salt pigs and more kitchen storage items in a variety of glaze colors. http://www.etsy.com/shop/BlueSkyPotteryCO?section_id=6938194 and if you'd like extra spoons for any reason, I have them here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/95420358

Dishwasher safe.

I signed it on the bottom rim.

This seller usually responds within a few hours.

If I feel I can make something custom for you in a style, design and glaze that I have tested and perfected, I'm happy to consider custom and personalized orders. Please know that there is generally an added charge for this and it may take six weeks or more to complete.
Because all of my pottery is made one at a time, there will be variations in size, even when you purchase a set of two or more pieces. Generally these are maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch in difference and a couple ounces in volume at times.
I use a very durable stoneware clay for my pottery, making it able to withstand continued, everyday use. Unless stated otherwise in the description, you can use my pottery in your oven, microwave and dishwasher.
It is very difficult to gift wrap your pottery since I need to make sure it has lots of bubblewrap and peanuts surrounding it so it arrives intact. However, I am very happy to tie a ribbon around the packing material and to include a hand written card with a message from you inside the box. Just leave me the wording in your Note to Seller at check out.
I do sell my work wholesale to gift shops and galleries. Please contact me for minimum order and pricing information. My phone is: 970-846-9349 and my email is deb@blueskypottery.com

I also have a watercolor shop here on etsy and would love to be represented by a gallery for that work. You can see it at: BlueSkyFineArt.etsy.com
