Elegance abounds in this wonderful Rookwood Pottery Ewer Pitcher. From all the research I have done this piece is from 1901 and is done in the standard glaze. It has the Rookwood stamp on the bottom along with ware #868. There are initials going under the original sticker from the store that apparently was the original establishment to sell this piece. I am unclear as to what the initials say. The store sticker says Burley & Co. Chicago.
Piece features wonderful autum browns to dark browns and is adorned with flowers and leaves. The piece is in mint condition. There is very light glaze crazing that is typical of these pieces but is very minimal. Simply a must have for Rookwood collections or American Art Pottery collections. You won't be disappointed in this piece. Measures 9 1/4" tall and 4 3/4" wide.
Offering at a new price!!!

Will ship this piece priority and insured.
