As you may have noticed, a lot of bones and feathers sold in my shop are cruelty free. I just wanted to specify that as far as these go, i'm not able to vouch for them. Most likely, they were from a coon taken during hunting season. There is also the possibility that this animal got into someone's attic/home and a humane euthanization was the only chance of it being removed safely from the home. Personally, I dont have a problem with hunting, our ancient ancestors and Native Americans hunted to survive, and I view ourselves and the animals as all part of that circle of life. On that note, i dont like to waste anything. Many primitive peoples found uses for every part of the animal, right down to the bones.

You will get the exact jaws pictured.

Now someone somewhere can enjoy these bones as well! There's a couple tiny teeth missing, from the front. Teeth in skulls/jaws can over time wiggle lose, I usually touch them up with a bit of clear glue before shipping.

Mother nature has done most of the cleaning herself. In addition, i've soaked these in a potent bleach solution, and scrubbed them down with a stiff bristled brush.

These bones are a natural bone color, not bleached white. Personally I love that natural tone, but if you so chose, you could set them on the windowsil and let the sun bleach them lighter, or google a bone bleaching solution to use at home.
